Privacy Policy
LiOps Inc. sets out below what personal data the enquiry form on this site handles, what it is used for, how long it is kept and how you can exercise your rights. This English text is a courtesy translation; where it differs from the Korean version, the Korean prevails.
Purpose of processing
LiOps Inc. (hereinafter “the Company”) processes personal data in order to receive enquiries about technical consultation, pilot projects, business partnership, general hiring questions and press or investment, to identify the sender, to reply, and to make any follow-up contact that enquiry requires. The Company also processes personal data to review applications submitted through the careers application form on this site, to run the selection process and to contact applicants.
What is collected, and how
The Company collects the following, entered directly by the user in the enquiry form on this site. All of the items below are currently required.
- Type of enquiry
- Name
- Company
- Email address
- Content of the enquiry
The careers application form collects name, email address, position applied for and a short introduction as required items, and phone number, a link to a CV or portfolio and a CV file as optional items.
Users are asked not to enter sensitive information that an enquiry does not require, such as national identification numbers or health data.
Retention and use period
Personal data is retained for three years from the date of collection for the purpose of receiving and answering the enquiry and any related follow-up, and is then destroyed. Job applications are retained for one year after the selection process ends and are then destroyed. Where consent is withdrawn or deletion is requested, the data is destroyed without delay, except for information that must be retained under other legislation. Where other legislation requires retention, the Company states the legal basis, the items and the period separately, and limits use to what that purpose requires.
How personal data is destroyed
Personal data whose retention period has ended, or for which a ground for deletion has arisen, is identified and destroyed. Electronic records are deleted so that they cannot be recovered; any printed material is shredded or otherwise destroyed. Information that must be retained under legislation is kept separately from other personal data.
Disclosure to third parties, processing on our behalf, and transfer abroad
The Company does not disclose personal data to third parties.
Enquiries submitted through the website form reach the Company via the following processors. Both are located in the United States, so the data is transferred abroad.
· Vercel Inc. (United States): website hosting and receipt of the enquiry form
· Resend, Inc. (United States): email delivery of the submitted enquiry
The items transferred are the enquiry type, name, company, email address and message. They are transmitted over the internet at the moment the form is submitted. The processors handle the data only for the tasks above, and the Company’s retention period is as set out in Article 3.
Applications and attached files submitted through the careers form pass through Vercel Inc. (United States) and are stored in the Company’s own AWS storage in the Seoul region; a notification, together with any attachment, is then emailed to the Company via Resend, Inc. (United States).
If you do not wish your data to be transferred abroad, you may email contact@liops.ai directly instead of using the form; in that case the processors above are not involved and only the form is unavailable. If the server cannot receive the enquiry, the form falls back to your own mail program and the processors above are likewise not involved.
Measures to keep personal data safe
The Company grants access to staff who handle personal data only to the extent their work requires, and applies encrypted communication between this site and the server. Input required to receive an enquiry is checked on the server, and the body of an enquiry and the contact details in it are not written to general diagnostic logs.
Your rights and how to exercise them
You may request access to your personal data, its correction or deletion, suspension of processing, and withdrawal of consent by writing to contact@liops.ai. The Company confirms that the requester is the data subject or a duly authorised representative, acts under the applicable legislation, and informs you of the outcome. Where legislation limits a request, the reason is given.
Privacy officer and point of contact
The company has designated the privacy officer below to take overall responsibility for the handling of personal data. Questions about the handling of personal data, complaints and requests for redress are also received here.
Remedies for infringement
Advice and dispute mediation on personal data can be sought from the Korea Internet & Security Agency’s Privacy Infringement Report Centre (privacy.kisa.or.kr, 118) or the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee (www.kopico.go.kr, 1833-6972).
Effect and amendment
This policy applies from 17 September 2026. Where the policy is amended, the change and the date it takes effect are announced on this site, and the previous version remains available.
